- 红曲米 (Red yeast rice):这是一种通过对红曲霉菌株米发酵而制成的中国传统医药成分。它包含有抑制素类降胆固醇化学物质,其中一种与洛伐他汀这种药物相同。与抑制素类药物一样,红曲对于改善各种血脂水平有效,包括总胆固醇、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇以及低密度脂蛋白/高密度脂蛋白比例。
- 坚果 (Nuts):越来越多的数据认为多食用杏仁、核桃、山核桃等坚果可以改善血脂情况并降低心脏病的发生风险,这可能跟这些坚果含有较多的单不饱和脂肪酸有关。
- 橄榄油 (Olive oil):目前已知橄榄油能够改善胆固醇水平。科学家一直认为橄榄油所含的单不饱和脂肪为其主要的有效成分。然而最近有一些数据提示:橄榄油(尤其是初榨橄榄油)所含的多酚类也可能在起作用。
- 冬虫夏草 (Fungus cordyceps):一些初步的双盲试验发现中国的冬虫夏草可能具有一定的降脂效果。
