- 酯化脂肪酸 (Cetylated Fatty Acids):在骨关节炎治疗方面,一种叫做酯化脂肪酸的天然脂肪酸受到越来越多的关注。它既可以做成膏剂外涂,也可以做成口服药物。有三项双盲试验支持酯化脂肪酸对于骨关节炎的治疗作用,其中两项为对其作为膏剂外用的研究,一项是对其作为口服药的研究。比如,在其中一项外用膏剂的试验中,40名膝关节炎患者在受累关节处外涂酯化脂肪酸膏剂或者安慰剂,结果显示:30天后涂用酯化脂肪酸的患者其膝关节在活动范围和功能方面都显著好于对照组。
- 针灸:针灸对于骨关节炎的疗效尚有争议。一项对8组试验的综合分析指出针灸对治疗骨关节炎有一定的疗效。然而,另一篇综述认为虽然与不治疗相比,针灸可以带来明显的改善,但是 “假针灸” (即不按照穴位给予的针灸) 也可以得到相似的疗效。换句话说,针灸的所有功效可能只不过是安慰剂的作用或心理作用。
- 二甲基砜 (MSM):有一项科学试验显示,二甲基砜与氨基葡萄糖联用治疗骨关节炎有一定的疗效。另外一项为期12周、涉及50名骨关节炎患者的双盲试验也发现服用二甲基砜 (每日两次,每次3g) 有利于治疗骨关节炎。
- 中草药:有证据表明中草药对于骨关节炎也有一定疗效。但是有一项试验将 “独活寄生丸” (常用于治疗骨关节炎的中药配方) 和双氯芬酸在骨关节炎方面的治疗效果进行了对比。结果显示:与双氯芬酸相比,该中药起效更慢,而且副作用大致相同。
- 透明质酸 (HA):越来越多的证据表明受累关节内直接注射天然透明质酸可以缓解骨关节炎的症状。然而由于在肠胃中会被消化分解掉,因此口服透明质酸并不会带来帮助。
